Bueno bonito barato

Extremely good value for money. 24 hour restaurant and massage salon on site, and a tiny pool.

The staff seem pretty unhappy - and there’s loads of them in the restaurant which made me feel a bit uncomfortable.

near the MRT. The One Ratchada is 2 stations away, but everything else is a bit far. you can leave your luggage if your flight is a bit later

- each bed is only provided 1 pillow, you have to pay THB100 for an extra - 7th floor hallway smells like cigarette smoke all the time - hot water for shower is inconsistent - shower area needs to be renovated

Accessibility - 5/5 (surrounded with 7/11, tops, max valu; 5min walk to train and bus station, taxi and motorbike just outside the hotel) Comfort - 5/5 Free pool access from 8am to 9pm Have own restaurant Have lift Room is big with table, sofa, fridge, kettle, TV. Bathroom have bath tub. AC is in good condition. The fridge was broken in the room we were assigned to so they moved us to the next room right away. Water bottle are provided everyday. Shampoo and shower gel small are replaced daily

Would have been better to have slippers inside the room and 1 or 2 hangers

Impossible to get a good night's sleep.

The wifi was fastish. The rooms have a sofa and a kettle(although the kettle didn't actually boil the water).

The reception staff are quite surly, especially the older woman. The beds are like concrete and the pillows are like lumpy concrete, The soi side is really noisy. The young East Asian men who are there to visit the nearby massage parlours will wake you up slamming doors, talking loudly late at night etc. and then the cleaners loud voices will wake you up in the morning. The sound of the people in the rooms around you dragging furniture across the floor at all hours will drive you insane. The restaurant is overpriced; walk a few hundred metres and there is a great little restaurant in front of a cheap apartment building.

Great Place to Stay in Bangkok

Price is almost half from similar room in Bangkok city center. Family room for 4 is spacious and comfortable. Inhouse restaurant and mini market was great.

Location a little bit outside of city center but is not a big issue as very close to public transport (metro) and reachable with Grab/Taxi with reasonable price.

Walking distance to Family Mart, MCD, Aeon Maxvalue and MRT.

Walking distance to Family Mart, MCD, Aeon Maxvalue and MRT. Room is quite big with sofa and fridge. Have bath tub.

The mattress is so hard. The water heater is not hot enough. This hotel did not provide iron.

Amazing skyline view from room in 12th floor, one of the best I have seen in Bangkok

The skyline view was simply amazing. You would not believe it when first seeing the hotel and its rustic charme. You literally see ALL of the city's skyline from rooms in higher floors facing street side. If possible ask for one at check-in (not pool-side!). I have been to Bangkok many times and the view has been better than the ones right in the centre.

Balcony could have been great with the view if it was not mainly occupied by the aircon (it could do with a chain or so).

This location suits us close to the MRT

Cigarette smoke, smoking in the room is allowed and I was coming into our room somehow and very very strong worked out if we let the bathroom exhaust fan on it helped to make it bearable. There should be smoke fee floors.

Disappointing

Room was full of ants, allover the bed, floor, got allover all my clothes. Went down to complain so they sent the housekeeper up who only sprayed the room with bug spray? (Did that myself anyway as soon as I noticed them) Didn’t even change the bed!!! Went down to complain again and asked to be put in another room, they did, reluctantly. This room was ant free but the shower did not work. (not what I needed at 2am when I’d just found ants crawling allover me) and the bed was like sleeping on a plank of wood, wouldn’t recommend, sorry.

property is good and location is great. I really liked my stay at watana hotel. value for money.

cupboard could have been in better condition and i couldn't find coffee and sugar on my table. i thing these things the hotel can work upon.

Great hotel. Specially the side facing the front view. The city lights are spectacular.

The sofa in the room is what i love the most. I don’t have interrupt my partner’s sleep whenever I have coffee in the morning since I don’t have to sit on the bed.

The tub. I just felt unsafe to use it. They could try scrubbing it with baking soda to remove the water stains. The pool usage time, they could have extended it to upto 9-10pm. Guests from a long day tour/activity could use a cool bath in the pool.

Outdated rooms with good view from balcony

Good view from the balcony though with swimming pool below.

The rooms and bathroom seriously need decorating/refit. They are dark inside and lighting is dim. Not worth 800 baht. Had I seen the room in person before I paid I would not have taken it.

We had access to meals, while not quite restaurant quality...

We had access to meals, while not quite restaurant quality they were convenient. The staff were helpful, unfortunately I speak English and my wife Chinese so there it difficult communicating. We would stay there again. (remembering the price)
